Growing up in the inner city of Bridgeport CT young Boys & Girls struggle to find their way due to limited resources, few opportunities, and lack of support. BrayboyBallerEnt’s Basketball Development League’s mission is to provide our kids the opportunity to reach their full potential on and off the court, by showcasing their talent and learning life skills while having fun. During our program your child will meet new friends and learn the value of teamwork. 

    The Basketball Development League is a four week program consisting of various practices and games for boys and girls ages 6-16. This program focuses on participation and development not high levels of competition. Players will improve focus, flexibility, coordination and social interaction through youth basketball. Some things for players to look forward to are , learning dribbling moves, access to workout space & drills on the shooting machine, as well as defense skills and drills but most importantly strength and conditioning. 

    Development will consist of practice Monday - Wednesday with league games on Thursdays. We will offer 12 training sessions 90 min each and 4 league games to showcase newly developed skills. Players will also get awards and evaluation folders listing thier progress in skills developed while participating in the four week program. 

     Players Ages 6-13 will be partnered with players from BrayboyBallerEnt’s 18U Basketball team to provide “ Big Brother “ mentorship alongside 1:1 Basketball development, as well as life advice helping players understand what it takes to truly be a student athlete. 

Our kids must learn they can have all the talent in the world, but it does no good if they don’t have the knowledge and dedication to back it up. There will guess speakers such as community leaders, business owners as well as current and past collegiate student athletes & Coaches.

   All players will be provided uniforms and water/Gatorade throughout wo to be a hardworking but fun summer I hope to see you guys there !
